March for the Arts is In-Person! October 17, 2021

Dear Theatre Family,

We are happy to be doing the March for the Arts: Who Let the Villains Out? in-person on the front lawn of Duke Ellington School of the Arts this year. We hope you'll join us so we can see you, but if you can't come to the school, please join us on Facebook Live. We'll have 2 shows at 10:30 and 11:30.

Join us for a free performance! September 07, 2021

Greetings Theatre Family,

Theatre seniors will perform their original songs alongside a group of Broadway stars at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 19. The showcase, “An Evening of Original Musical Theatre Songs,” is the culmination of a groundbreaking ASCAP Foundation songwriting workshop for high school students.

During the four-month workshop, students worked under the direction of ASCAP songwriter and Broadway performer Nick Blaemire.
Founded in 1975, the ASCAP Foundation is a charitable organization
dedicated to supporting American music creators and encouraging their
development through music education, talent development, and
humanitarian programs. To register for the performance,
